Speaker: De'Andre Fahie - Green Country Workforce
Topic: Connecting Job Seekers with Employers
De’Andre Fahie is one of the Business Services Representatives with Green Country Workforce. He works to cultivate relationships with business employers to help them strategically address their workforce challenges. Additionally, he connects with job seekers of all backgrounds to help them obtain employment and enhance their professional image.
While he has been doing Workforce development for 3 years now, he previously worked for the Boy Scouts of America in recruitment and community development. Having the opportunity to connect with youth and families from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds provided him with a skill set that allows him to effectively connect the goals of businesses with the needs of the community.
De’Andre received his Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of California, Riverside. He later went on to obtain his Master’s degree in Industrial & Organizational Psychology from Adler University. De’Andre has come to Tulsa join extended family members out here after living in California for over 25 years. He is a volunteer with Reading Partners and enjoys regular physical fitness and reading in his spare time.
